The Steelers host the Chiefs in the third preseason game for each team. The Steelers' starters figure to play through the first half in this game, giving them basically their final tune-up before the regular season.
Starters may play a few snaps in the preseason finale against Carolina Thursday, Aug. 29, but this is the game in which they're expected to play the most.
The Steelers have some work to do in terms of jelling together their offensive line and finding some consistency. Their starting group has yet to score a touchdown in this preseason. Defensively, the Steelers have done well to this point, getting turnovers from their back-up groups in addition to seeing strong play from their starters.
