Those on-hand at the Steelers' training camp practice Wednesday are reporting Steelers tight end Matt Spaeth was carted off the field with an "unspecified injury," according to Tribune-Review reporter Mark Kaboly.
The Steelers are already without tight end Heath Miller, who remains on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list due to offseason knee surgery to repair a torn ACL.
One of the biggest question marks the Steelers are facing in 2013 is the stability of the tight end position. If Spaeth's injury is significant, the Steelers would without question seek a move in free agency to provide what appears to be a major hole in the roster.
