Cortez Allen, still hampered by an ankle injury suffered in Week 1 against Tennessee, did not practice Thursday.
Allen left the game in time for William Gay to have broken up two passes in his absence. Allen missed most of the preseason after suffering a knee injury early into camp.
Nose tackle Steve McLendon was limited in practice due to a hamstring injury. He was not previously listed. Tight end Heath Miller was also limited (knee) and no word has been said whether he will be available for Pittsburgh's Week 2 game Monday at Cincinnati.
The Steelers will take on the Bengals in an AFC battle with both teams sitting at 0-1 on the season. Pittsburgh lost 16-9 to Tennessee and Cincinnati dropped a 24-21 decision to Chicago.
