The Steelers should look long and hard at the defensive backs participating in individual drills at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine. Depth at both cornerback and safety are something of question marks heading into the 2014 season, and there's a reasonable chance they use the draft's 15th overall pick on one.
Michigan State's Darqueze Dennard and Oklahoma State's Justin Gilbert are two cornerbacks to watch, in both their 40-yard dash times as well as their agility drills.
Alabama's Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is a safety who's been mentioned in the running for the 15th pick, but Louisville's Calvin Pryor is seeing his stock rise with an outstanding workout today expected.
Today marks the end of the Combine as well. Free agency starts in March, but teams can walk away from this event confirming what they saw of these players all year in film, and from that, make a few decisions in terms of internal as well as available free agents.
