CBS Sports draft analyst Dane Brugler came up with a rising name for the Steelers with the 15th pick.
The only issues are the depth the Steelers have on their offensive line already. And the fact Taylor Lewan could be standing trial for assault at some point after the draft.
Still, Lewan falls to 15 in Brugler's most recent mock draft, and after our scouting report of him, you can see why the Steelers would want him. You can probably also see why he's not likely to be available at 15.
I fully expect this pick to be a defensive player, either a nose tackle like Louis Nix or cornerback like Darqueze Dennard. But if a talented offensive tackle like Taylor Lewan is still available, it would be tough to pass him up, giving them a cornerstone on the line - the Steelers aren't one player away from the Super Bowl.
They aren't one offensive lineman away from anything, though. It would be one of the more derisive picks of the last few years, but the Steelers would be getting a good football player. Proection for Ben Roethlisberger via a running game would be an outstanding thing.
