UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Monday Starks will re-sign with the Packers
Original Story
Perhaps the issue with the Steelers' salary cap won't matter.
The Steelers have a scheduled visit with ex-Packers running back James Starks Tuesday, but from what Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal reporter Tyler Dunne wrote Monday, there are two other teams seeking the fifth-year pro, and the Packers are still a possibility as well.
In addition to his #Steelers visit, two more teams are interested in James Starks. Source says #Packers are still in the mix.

This could just be agent-posturing before his client's meeting with the Steelers. Dunne initially reported the meeting was scheduled for Monday, but Tribune-Review reporter Alan Robinson reported it was Tuesday. The Steelers will meet with wide receiver Lance Moore as well, one day after the Steelers signed offensive lineman Guy Whimper to a one-year deal.
The Steelers have around $2.4 million in cap space after displacement after the Whimper signing. There are still two moves they could make to free up space; signing Jason Worilds to an extension (which is expected) and restructuring the contract of Lawrence Timmons.
