Add Will Johnson to your #Steelers absentee list. Left Tuesdays practice with low left ankle sprain. In a boot but says be back next week.

Steelers Insider publisher Jim Wexell reported Wednesday Steelers fullback Will Johnson left practice with an apparent ankle injury, leaving in a walking boot. According to Wexell, he'll be back next week when the Steelers finish their final four practices of the OTAs portion of the offseason program.
Johnson wasn't used as often last season as preseason reports indicated he might be. Johnson is more athlete than brute lead blocker, and it's curious if the Steelers aren't looking to make a move for a better lead blocker.
Johnson's experience within the offense, as well as being a good mismatch threat coming from the upback spot gives the Steelers the kind of versatility they're really looking to add on offense.
Certainly a rolled ankle won't hurt his chances.
