The 2013 NFL Draft class brought the league linebacker Kiko Alonso and wide receiver Keenan Allen - both of whom were named by ESPN Draft Analyst Mel Kiper as his Defensive and Offensive Rookies of the Year, respectively.
It brought the Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell, who's 1,259 total yards from scrimmage are more than any other Steelers rookie in history.
None of that was enough for Bell to land a spot on Kiper's team, however.
Cincinnati's Giovani Bernard and Green Bay's Eddie Lacy took the running backs positions on Kiper's team, with Bell earning the 23rd overall spot on his top 30 rookies list.
Both Lacy and Bernard are outstanding players, and were said to be heading into the 2013 season. Perhaps if Bell hadn't missed three games to start the season, his projected total yards from scrimmage of over 1,500 may have propelled him into one of those spots.
Until then, however, it will just be fuel to burn for the future, which appears slanted more toward Bell than either Lacy or Bernard.
