While we're busy cheering for the Steelers to recover, relax and not get arrested during their bye week, we'll have to settle for rooting hard for the Houston Texans (again) and the Atlanta Falcons.
Houston is hosing the Cincinnati Bengals, with both teams looking good in wins last weekend. The Texans gave the Steelers their second gift this year - the first being their acceptance of a beating on Monday Night Football in Week 7 at the hands of the Steelers - when they knocked off the Cleveland Browns. Now, they must tame the wildly unpredictable Bengals.
The surging Falcons are shunning critics who feel 4-6 is a negative record and are powering forward toward an NFC South title. They'll host the equally schizophrenic Browns, who, despite not having lost two games in a row this season, are hot and cold week-to-week. They're no-doubt anxious to get Josh Gordon back on the field from his yearly suspension, and look to topple the host Falcons to push a half game ahead of the Steelers in the AFC North.
Here's the thread, let's do us some rootin' for the Falcons and Texans.
