2014 BTSC community mock draft underway, plus wait list info

First pick is coming tomorrow, and if you haven't emailed me yet to confirm who you're picking for, you will be bumped for someone from the wait list.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Just a couple of public service announcements: for starters, we are officially underway with the community mock draft! The first few picks are in, and will begin posting tomorrow - with one a day from here on out.

There is still an outstanding matter though, as a few folks that signed up skipped Step 3:

Step 3): As soon as possible, you need to send an email to barnerburner [at] gmail [dot] com telling me who you are, your username on here, the team you're picking for, and what Cam Thomas's nickname is (just to see if you've been sorta paying attention this offseason).

(Most of this is being conducted by email, so I need to know that I can communicate with you that way. If I don't get an email from someone or can't make sense of what was sent to me, I may "release" a team and put it back up for grabs again.)

There are still five two people who I have not gotten an email from (those who claimed the Raiders, Titans, Jets, Dolphins, and Seahawks), and if I still haven't heard anything by tomorrow, I will start replacing people with folks from the wait list.

I'm not trying to be a jerk - I do recognize a few of those I haven't heard from yet as previous community mock participants that did good work - it's just a pain in the butt to need to hunt people down, and I don't want to have to do that from the get-go. Even if I do have an email from you floating around from last year, you need to send me one this year so I know you're plugged in.

The wait list is currently as follows:

1) Panther pride 76

2) Mr MaLoR

3) Steelbrew

4) NoVaBurgher

5) TrifeReality

6) Chaseknicks

7) Vsquared

8) GriffDaddy

9) PABroncofan

Wait list folks: if I don't have your email, please drop me one. Once I know the teams that are available, I'll start at the top of the list with the options to pick from, and proceed on down until we're out of teams.

At that point, I'll still keep note of who remains on the list, and you'll have first crack in case someone drops out while we're underway.
