2014 NFL Mock Draft: Tennessee Titans Select...

New head coach Ken Whisenhunt brought in Ray Horton (another former Steelers coach) to improve the Titans' defense, and with the possible move to a 3-4, they'd be upset to see their top linebacker targets of C.J. Mosley, Anthony Barr, and Khalil Mack gone before the 11th pick. Wisenhunt has been a bit of a guru with quarterbacks, so I think he will give Jake Locker a chance to figure out the NFL game for one more year.

With the 11th pick, the Tennessee Titans select Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State.

Tennessee lost Alterraun Verner to the Buccaneers during free agency (4 years, $26.5 million), and decide to replace him here with Gilbert. Gilbert is a 6 ft corner with excellent speed (ran a 4.37 40 at the Combine) and great ball skills. He will immediately come in and be an impact player for a defense in transition.
