Steelers punter Adam Podlesh helps instruct at Robbie Gould's Youth Football Skills Camp

Photographer and BTSC reader Bill Crowell was present to watch Steelers punter Adam Podlesh help kids in Lock Haven, Pa., as part of Bears kicker Robbie Gould's Youth Football Skills Camp.

The Steelers signed veteran punter Adam Podlesh to the roster in April, shoring up what has been the largest deficiency position on the Steelers over the last season. Former punters Zoltan Mesko and Mat McBriar combined on a 37 yard net average, the second-lowest total in the league.

Podlesh was released by the Bears this spring, but he still made the effort of helping Bears kicker Robbie Gould, a Lock Haven, Pa., product, conduct the Robbie Gould Youth Football Skills Camp in March.

Perhaps Podlesh can be forgiven for wearing a pink Maryland Terrapins (his alma mater) t-shirt during the camp. Certainly, we can suggest a few shirts more of the black and gold variety for the next camp.

Bill Crowell, a local photographer and BTSC reader, took some pictures of the newest Steelers punter as he interacted with kids of all ages participating in the camp.
