The Steelers signed undrafted free agent C.J. Goodwin Wednesday, a wide receiver out of California (Pa.) University, clearing a spot for him by releasing UDFA WR Jasper Collins.

Goodwin, 6-foot-1, 178 pounds, transferred from Fairmont State last year and ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at his Pro Day in preparation for the 2014 NFL Draft. He's listed on the California web site as standing at 6-foot-3, and amassing 11 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown in 2013.
The Steelers continue with their second week of OTAs practices today, and it's the second roster move they've made so far pertaining to undrafted free agents. They released Kaycee Ike last week, signing Alabama cornerback Deion Belue, and also released 2013 UDFA Nik Embernate, signing Emmanuel McCray to fill his spot.
The Steelers will practice Wednesday and Thursday this week, and practice Tuesday through Thursday next week before concluding the offseason program with a team minicamp June 17-19.
