Steelers injury report: Dri Archer and Lance Moore out vs. Ravens

The Steelers will be without one of their three running backs when they take on the Baltimore Ravens Thursday.

Rookie Dri Archer's biggest moment in his first professional game was his decision to take a kick from seven yards deep in the end zone. He was tackled around his 10-yard line. He was also injured, and did not return to the game.

He will need another week to make up for the aggressive decision-turned-bad, as the team reported Wednesday he will miss Thursday's game at the Baltimore Ravens.

It leaves the Steelers in an interesting dilemma. They could be dressing just three running backs - Le'Veon Bell, LeGarrette Blount and Will Johnson (primarily the team's fullback). The Steelers toyed a bit with Johnson as the halfback in the preseason. He's also had work at the H-back position in the offense.

Moore, a free agent acquisition this offseason, missed Week 1 as well, and will sit out Week 2. It's expected second-year wide receiver Justin Brown will again assume the slot receiver duties against Baltimore, like he did in the team's win over Cleveland in Week 1. He had three catches for 38 yards, along with a drop on a third down play late in the game.

The Steelers and Ravens will kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
