Buccaneers vs. Steelers second half open thread

The Steelers have calmed down and taken a firm command of the game after a rough start. Protection remains an issue, leading to a concern heading into the second half. Pittsburgh leads 17-10, Tampa Bay will receive the kick.

It started poorly.

The Steelers surrendered two sacks on their first three plays, the second one causing a fumble that set up a Tampa Bay touchdown. After another three-and-out series, the Steelers punted, gave up a medium-sized return and eventually allowed a field goal.

Despite the five sacks of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh has beaten the tar out of Tampa Bay since then, outscoring them 17-0 and out-gaining them 255-20 after those first two drives. The Steelers took a 17-10 lead into the locker room.

Ben Roethlisberger, despite spending an exceptionally large amount of time on his back, is 19-for-24 for 205 yards and two touchdowns in this game.
