With two days down in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers have 5 draft picks remaining heading into the final day, and their fourth round pick was spent taking Ohio State senior cornerback Doran Grant with the 121st pick.
Grant started all 15 games during the Buckeyes run to the first-ever College Football Playoff national championship this past season. A First-Team All-Big 10 selection last season, the 5'10'', 200-pound Grant tallied 63 total tackles last season while recording five interceptions and breaking up nine passes. For his career, Grant posted 146 total tackles to go with nine interceptions and 21 passes defensed.
A versatile player, Grant could also play safety for the Steelers if needed.
The Steelers still have 4 draft picks remaining: a 5th round selection, two 6th round selections and a 7th round selection. The last 6th round pick is a compensatory pick which cannot be traded away to move any specific draft position. The Steelers still have holes to fill on their roster and will look to do so throughout the rest of Day 3 of the draft, as well as by signing undrafted free agents following the draft.
