The Pittsburgh Steelers will help kick off the 2015 NFL regular season by playing the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots on the league's prime time stage in Foxborough, MA Thursday night. The game will be one to keep an eye on as Tom Brady returns to the field with something to prove after an offseason of turbulence surrounding the Deflategate scandal. Also, more information was dug up on the Patriots' Spygate case years ago, which will add a new element to the game and the discussion surrounding the home team.
Must Reads
The game will be without many superstars. The Patriots will be without WR Brandon LaFell and LeGarrette Blount, and the Steelers will be without Le'Veon Bell, Maurkice Pouncey and Martavis Bryant. However, despite the lack of firepower, the only two players the NFL needs in the lineup are Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady. Brady has had the Steelers' number throughout his career, but Keith Butler's defense looks to put a stop to that in Week 1.
Be sure to get all the information to prepare yourself for the big game September 10th.
