The Pittsburgh Steelers are slowly getting back to health. The once lengthy Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list has dwindled to two players as the team announced quarterback Bruce Gradkoswki will be removed from the PUP list and is practicing Sunday for the first time since training camp started.
Gradkowski, who had been dealing with a shoulder injury, is eyeing a return to game action for the Steelers preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on August 29th.
For many fans, his return can't come soon enough as many have grown tired of the third string quarterback, Landry Jones, getting extended repetitions in both games the team has played so far this preseason. Gradkowski's availability for the regular season could ultimately dictate whether the Steelers entertain the thought of bringing in another quarterback to help bolster the depth at the position.
Regardless, as of now, the Steelers have added another quarterback to the stable which currently consists of Ben Roethlisberger, Landry Jones, Tajh Boyd and Tyler Murphy.
