It seemed like just yesterday the Pittsburgh Steelers were moving into Saint Vincent College dormitories as head coach Mike Tomlin heckled the likes of DeAngelo Williams calling him an 'old man'. It has been several weeks and two preseason games since then, and the Friday practice for the Steelers wraps up their 50th training camp in the hills of Latrobe, PA.
The team will be putting the final touches on their preparation for the Green Bay Packers who will be invading Heinz Field this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST. The Steelers starting offense will see an increase in playing time, but not by much. The defense on the other hand might see a significant increase in playing time as they try to iron out the kinks of the adjustment to Keith Butler's defense.
As always, the practice session is open to the public, but if you can't make it, be sure to follow along in the Twitter feed below from the writers who are there.
