Steelers inactives for Wild Card game vs. the Baltimore Ravens

New, comments

Without Le'Veon Bell, the Steelers will turn to running backs Josh Harris, Dri Archer, and Ben Tate.

Jason Bridge-USA TODAY Sports

If there would be any week for running backs Josh Harris and Dri Archer to have big games, this week would be the week.

Steelers MVP running back Le'Veon Bell was ruled out Friday due to a hyperextended knee suffered against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. With Bell inactive, Harris will most likely get the start with Tate spelling him and Archer getting some snaps as a receiver, a role Bell often played in the Steelers offense.

Cornerback Ike Taylor was listed as probable to end the week, but he won't receive a hat Saturday. Due to his declining play, it looks as if Steelers fans have seen the last of the long-time Steeler.

Receiver Lance Moore is also a healthy scratch as the Steelers receiving core is completely healthy. Because of the need to dress Tate and Archer due to Bell's absence, Moore is left watching the game in street clothes.

Joining the Steelers receiver healthy in-actives are tight end Michael Palmer, guard Chris Hubbard, defensive lineman Clifton Geathers, and inactive regular quarterback Landry Jones.
