Maurkice Pouncey calls Mike Wallace a coward

Maurkice Pouncey sounds off on his opinion of former Steelers wide receiver, Mike Wallace.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Recently the Miami Dolphins traded away their heavily priced wide receiver, Mike Wallace, to the Minnesota Vikings.  This stemmed from when Wallace, reportedly, said he didn't want to play for the team anymore in the second quarter of the Dolphins' week 17 matchup versus the New York Jets.

Today, Maurkice Pouncey and Mike Pouncey, centers for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins, were asked about their opinion of Wallace, whom has played as a teammate with both of the twins in the NFL.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported about the interview that is scheduled to air tonight.  Maurkice's response when asked a question about Wallace was emphatic.

"First of all in my opinion he's a coward," Maurkice said.  "I never want a guy on my team like that, man, to walk out on your band of brothers. And obviously our organization felt that way about some guys and they got those guys out of our football team and I think it was the right move for everybody."
