BTSC By The Numbers 2015 Edition

As we head to Latrobe in the heat and humidity of late July in Pittsburgh for another training camp and another year of Steeler football the anticipation is everywhere. You can smell the fresh cut grass. You can hear the impact of the blocking sleds and the aches and pains as the players stretch their muscles from an off season of non contact.

Here at BTSC the posters of the best Steeler blog in the world ready for the regular season as well. Many posters are stretching fingers, cracking knuckles and breaking out dictionary and thesaurus awaiting the start of the regular season.

During the great run of the 70s the "want to be" Pittsburgh Steelers would show up at Latrobe and immediately see Equipment Manager Tony Parisi to be issued their Steeler jersey and number. Well I'm no Parisi but around these parts I'm who issues the numbers at the BTSC bloggers sphere. Not one with bravado (OK, maybe a little) this is always a fan favorite post feel free to REC this and bump this front page!

And my how we have grown since the early days of Michael Bean. Somewhere from the real world with his real job Bean looks down at us from a skyscraper and is proud of his creation. Home & Road jersey's are no longer enough. We have added the throwback from a few years ago as well as the striped throwback of recent times. This year we have added the 1933 Throwback (remember those ugly jerseys?) along with the cool yellow practice jersey sported by the Steelers during hot August practices in the Latrobe sun.

This is your time and this is your blog. Have a take and back up your opinion. Contribute and don't lurk. Show respect to those with a different opinion than yours. They aren't stupid. They just have a different opinion. And that is legal here on BTSC. And remember; "there is no crying in football!" If you didn't get a number or you changed your moniker or I spelled your handle wrong "buck up!" just step up to BTSCs Tony Parisi and weigh in. Ask for a number. No one is denied at BTSC!
