Week 2 AFC North Preview: Bengals, Browns and Ravens

All AFC North games happen on Sunday during the day games. We breakdown the non-Steeler matchups.

San Diego Chargers at Cincinnati Bengals

1:00PM on CBS.

Bengals Inactives:

Chargers Inactives:

Prediction:

The Chargers are coming off a solid win against the Detroit Lions and look to keep pace with the Denver Broncos, who won on Thursday night to go 2-0. The Bengals are coming off a blowout victory against the Oakland Raiders and should be extremely confident coming into their home opener and looking to try and extend an early lead on the usually tough division that is the AFC North.

The Chargers saw a resurgence from Keenan Allen last week who caught 15 passes for 166 yards but is still looking for his first touchdown. Though the Chargers surrendered over totals yards from scrimmage to rookie Ameer Abdullah last week, the mostly contained the ground game and will go up against a tough task of doing the same this week against Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard.

Tennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns

1:00PM on CBS.

Titans Inactives:

Browns Inactives:

Prediction:

The Titans had a strong performance from their rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota as he threw for four touchdowns in his debut performance. Now he faces a more highly touted Cleveland Browns defense that is coming off a loss to the New York Jets.

Cleveland will be depending on Johnny Manziel to go up against a Dick Lebeau defense with the Titans while their defense looks to rebound after Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two touchdowns last week and Chris Ivory ran for two more. The Titans looked like their offense could be dangerous this season, but without Delanie Walker they will look to lean on Bishop Sankey and Kendall Wright as playmakers. Even if the Browns defense can contain the Titans, their offense won't get the job done.

Titans 24 Browns 10

Baltimore Ravens at Oakland Raiders

4:05 PM CBS

(Due to the game being later in the afternoon, full inactives list are not available yet.)

Ravens Injury Report:

Raiders Injury Report:

According to the injury report from our neighbors at Silver and Black Pride, the Raiders will be missing Justin Ellis, Benson Mayowa, and Jamize Olawale, but quarterback Derek Carr is probable and defensive back Charles Woodson will be questionable.

Prediction:

The Ravens will be without Terrell Suggs for the first time after his season-ending injury, but that should not be too much of a hindrance as they tackle a struggling Raiders team that got annihilated by the Bengals last week. Look for Justin Forsett to have a big day and the Ravens defense to get multiple turnovers.
