The 2016 NFL Scouting Combine is officially in the books, and NFL prospects now turn their attention to their specific school's Pro Day to show off their skills to NFL scouts.
For those who wonder why so many schools host Pro Days for their athletes who just attended the Combine, the answer is simple. First, many athletes look to improve their specific numbers and performances in the comfort of their own university, compared to the combine. Second, would be the fact more athletes are able to participate in these Pro Days. The Combine is an invitation-only event, and more athletes get a chance to impress scouts at their individual school's Pro Day.
Often times athletes who aren't being the target of scouts gets noticed. The Pittsburgh Steelers signed FB/TE Will Johnson at the West Virginia Pro Day as he was there helping out other athletes and trying to show his skill set to scouts.
