2016 NFL Draft: Steelers Draft needs and prospects for Rounds 2 and 3

The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to fill a giant need a cornerback in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, but what position, and which prospect, will they target in the second and third rounds?

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

With the Pittsburgh Steelers taking cornerback Artie Burns with their first round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft it filled a giant void on their current roster. Whether you believe the team reached to draft him in the first round, or not, doesn't matter. The simple fact they addressed the cornerback position is what is important heading into Day 2.

On Day 2 you will see two more draft picks coming your way from the Steelers in both Rounds 2 and 3. The team selects 58th in Round 2, and 89th in Round 3, and there are still huge needs for the team to address in these two rounds.

With cornerback being off the list, at least for Day 2, there are several positions of need, and specific prospects who are still available at each position, the Steelers could be interested in taking if they are hanging around in the back end of either round.

Take a look at the positions of need (in no particular order) and a handful of prospects the team could target at each:

Vonn Bell - Ohio State
Darian Thompson - Boise State
Su'a Cravens - USC
T.J. Green - Clemson
Jeremy Cash - Duke
K.J. Dillon - West Virginia

Defensive Line

A'Shawn Robinson - Alabama
Chris Jones - Mississippi State
Javon Hargraves - South Carolina State
