For the Pittsburgh Steelers, the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft is now a thing of the past. The team selected LB Travis Feeney out of Washington with their 6th round pick in the draft. After turning to the offensive side of the ball in the 4th round, the team went back to the defensive side to add Feeney to a very thin linebacking corps.
Feeney, despite a very thin frame, is a speedy linebacker who ran the fastest 40-yard dash time compared to any other linebacker at this year's NFL Scouting Combine. Although he struggled with multiple shoulder injuries, the Steelers plan to use Feeney as an outside linebacker as the 2016 inches closer.
Take a look at some of the comments made by current, and former, players, as well as media experts, on social media surrounding the latest addition to the black and gold.

For all of my Herald-Standard readers, Travis Feeney's dad born and raised in Brownsville. Fun interview, energy like his new boss Peezy.

Joey Porter is in to talk about Feeny so he's an OLB. He said Feeney will work on the left or right side, wherever he finds a fit.
