Steelers unsigned Free Agents Kelvin Beachum and Antwon Blake drawing interest from other teams

The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to lock up several of their own free agents, but many went unsigned. Kelvin Beachum and Antwon Blake are two players who are drawing interest from around the league.

With the long list of Pittsburgh Steelers Unrestricted Free Agents, there was no feasible way the team would be able to re-sign all of their own, and some they wouldn't want to re-sign. For cornerback Antwon Blake and offensive left tackle Kelvin Beachum, most would argue they would be players the team would entertain keeping in the organization for 2016 and beyond.

Blake, who won the award of fan punching bag for the 2015 season, played the season injured with both thumb and back issues hampering his play. Per Ralph Paulk of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Blake is set to meet with several teams in the coming days, and has been in talks with other teams. Two of the teams listed, the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans and former defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau.

As for Kelvin Beachum, it was rumored he was drawing interest from the Baltimore Ravens, but Ian Rapoport has added the New York Jets and the Seattle Seahawks to teams he will be visiting in the coming days.

The market is still very hot for specific position players, and Blake and Beachum have the experience teams want on their roster. The Steelers have the ability to wait and see what other teams are offering, and whether they are even in the market for a potential stab at bringing the players back, if they chose to. For a player with such a dismal 2015 season like Blake, there is a chance they would be okay letting him leave for greener pastures.
