The Pittsburgh Steelers haven't gotten through a week of practice and have already sustained their first significant camp injury. Unfortunately for all parties involved, it was cornerback Senquez Golson who was carted off the field Monday with an apparent foot/ankle injury.

The extent of the injury is not know, and likely won't be known until Mike Tomlin speaks to the media following practice, but the organization has to be sick to their stomachs if it is something significant as Golson was forced to miss the entire 2015 season with a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
Golson has been practicing with the starters as the 3rd cornerback on the team through the early stages of camp. If his injury is deemed significant, it could open the door for the likes of Artie Burns and Doran Grant to see more time.
Stay tuned for the latest news on the situation.
UPDATE: Mike Tomlin stated the injury was a mid-foot sprain, will be evaluated.
