For Steelers fans, this was a welcome sight to see. At around 4:11 pm, ESPN Senior NFL Writer Jeremy Fowler reported that Martavis Bryant was seen on the adjacent field doing conditioning work, while training camp was in session. According to Fowler, this was his first official appearance while awaiting full reinstatement. As confirmation, Fowler offered this Twitter post seen on his page;

This update came to the delight of the Steelers fan base as many have been long anticipating the return of the man known as ‘Alien’. Many took to Twitter offering their own updates on Bryant’s return.

As it stands, Bryant is not allowed to play or practice until he is fully reinstated; however he is allowed it partake in “off-the-field activities” as Steelers GM Kevin Colbert noted in his statement on Thursday. Until his reinstatement becomes official, Bryant plans on staying close to the team and keeping himself in shape. The fact that he took the initiative to come to camp regardless of his situation, is a good sign of his maturation.
