The BTSC Want-ads

It is the slow season, but believe it or not, most websites like this one are already preparing their team for the upcoming season. Just as the Steelers have their 90-man roster, so am I putting together my team for the upcoming season.

What's that you say? You want to get in on the BTSC action? Well, since you asked...here are a few possibilities for readers who might have some hidden talent to be a part of the site for the 2016 NFL season (applicants should know the season will be going until February 2017).

Writers

News Writer - Are you always on Twitter watching the news feed? Keep your ear to the heart beat of Steelers Nation? Around a computer a lot and able to write? We are looking for someone with writing experience who is the go-to person with breaking news, and general news stories. These articles will not be long, or opinionated, just stating the facts and getting the story on the site ASAP.

Commentary/Feature Writer - If you follow the site, you most likely have an opinion about the burning questions and topics surrounding the team. We are searching for people with writing experience who can write on a consistent basis providing fresh new takes on the black and gold both in season, and throughout the offseason.

Moderators

We are currently looking to fill two moderator roles this offseason. If you are someone who is always surfing the comment section of articles, has a good moral compass and understands the intricacies of the complex Steelers fans...this might just be the gig for you.

Podcast Host(s)

BTSC currently offers two podcasts which will run weekly during the football season (Black and Gold Blitz and The Standard is the Standard). I would like to have 3-4 shows which run weekly during the season, giving fans plenty of black and gold talk when they want it the most. Experience in the field is appreciated, but not needed. Getting comfortable on the air takes time, so we would want to try and start this offseason to prepare for the upcoming regular season. Looking for those with unique angles on the Steelers, takes on formatting a show and even producing the show.
