Podcast: Can fans expect to see an improved Steelers defense in 2016?

In a new podcast titled the "Steelers Connection", I break down whether fans can expect an improved defense in 2016, or if that is simply wishful thinking.

A new podcast is being unveiled at BTSC, and it is titled the Steelers Connection. This is where I get the opportunity to give my opinion on the black and gold multiple times a week, and help fans connect the dots heading into, and throughout, the 2016 season.

Where else should a new podcast start than with the Steelers' questionable defense?

2015 saw an up-and-down unit scramble to be a fumble away from the AFC Championship, but can they improve in 2016? Sure, Ryan Shazier, Stephon Tuitt and Bud Dupree will continue their development, but experience was lost this offseason.

Athleticism and youth were added, but is it enough?

What about the quick-strike offense, and how it can certainly impact the defensive unit's time on the field? All of this, and more, are discussed on the inaugural show.

Take a listen to the podcast in the player above (total time is 13:15) and be sure to listen to all Steelers podcasts brought to you by VSporto by following the Steelers channel on Twitter: @RadioSteelers.
