The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t want to know for a couple more weeks when they’d be drafting in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. But after their AFC Championship loss to the New England Patriots, their spot in the 2017 NFL Draft has been solidified.

With only four teams playing on Championship weekend, only two teams now remain for the 31st and 32nd overall pick in the draft, but the Steelers’ overall record of 11-5, has them sitting in the 30th slot of the first round, with the Green Bay Packers, who lost to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game, slotted just ahead of Pittsburgh at No. 29.
