The Pittsburgh Steelers opened up their headquarters doors the past two days and welcomed 8 NFL prospects for official pre-draft visits. While those, and other meetings, can be found on our BTSC pre-draft visit tracker, it won’t be updated Wednesday because the Steelers staff is in Baton Rouge, LA to watch the LSU pro day workouts.

While the Steelers likely won’t be in the running for some of the big name players coming out of LSU, like Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams, there are still some players the team will most likely be keeping an eye on.
One of those would be cornerback Tre’Davious White. A vocal leader and captain of the LSU team in 2016, could be a terrific match for the Steelers if they are looking for an NFL ready cornerback who can play the slot from Day 1 at the NFL level. White might not be athletic enough to move to the outside, but a slot defensive back has almost become a regular starter in today’s NFL.
There are more prospects the Steelers could target while at LSU, and stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news and notes from the recruiting trail, as well as pre-draft visits.
