Steelers next wave of pre-draft visits include a trio of defenders and two offensive weapons

The third wave of pre-draft visits is underway, and the Steelers are hosting players from a variety of positions. See who was hosted Thursday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers continued with their pre-draft visits Thursday, and they hosted 5 players all together. The Steelers organization, as well as every other NFL team, is allowed 30 pre-draft visits, but players who grew up or attended school within a certain distance from the team does not count towards that total.

Take a look at the visitors from today:

Safety Budda Baker from Washington, safety Josh Jones from North Carolina State, wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. from Penn State, running back James Conner from Pitt and linebacker Jarrad Davis from Florida were all at the UMPC Rooney Facility today to meet with coaches and allow them to learn more about a potential draft pick.

With Conner going to Pitt, his visit will not count towards the Steelers’ 30. There was already an exempt visit on Tuesday, which means the Steelers have hosted 13 players, but only 11 official visits.
