The Pittsburgh Steelers won in M&T Bank Stadium for the first time since 2012, and Ben Roethlisberger’s first win in Baltimore since 2010, with a 26-9 victory. While the team advanced their record to 3-1 on the season, some of the best news coming out of the Steelers camp was the injury report. In other words, the team left the game rather unscathed after a very physical game.
While some players, most notably Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, left the game at some point due to injury, both returned to the field without further complication. This also points to players who returned to the lineup, mainly Stephon Tuitt and T.J. Watt, didn’t suffer an major setbacks from returning to the lineup in Week 4.
This doesn’t mean the Steelers won’t have big questions heading into Week 5 when the Jacksonville Jaguars come to Heinz Field. Mainly, the healthy of safety Mike Mitchell (hamstring) and Marcus Gilbert (hamstring). Mitchell, who missed his first game in 4 seasons with the team, will be a welcome sight for fans next week, as will Gilbert who was replaced by Chris Hubbard the past two weeks.
Be sure to stay tuned to BTSC for the latest on the Steelers as they turn their focus away from the Ravens in Week 4, and to the Jaguars in Week 5.
