Steelers Injury Report: Offensive line could be without a pair of starters vs. Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers are just days away from the biggest game of the young 2017 season, but major questions remain for the banged-up offensive line.

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t won in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium since 2012, and if they’re going to break that streak, they’ll need all hands on deck for the big AFC North victory.

Unfortunately for the offensive line, in the wake of Thursday’s practice, that might not be an option. Ramon Foster, who injured his thumb vs. the Chicago Bears, missed his second straight practice, and Marcus Gilbert, who left the Week-2 game vs. the Minnesota Vikings with a hamstring injury, was downgraded from a full participant to limited. When injured players go backwards, it usually doesn’t mean anything good for their availability.

If Foster and Gilbert both can’t play vs. the Ravens on Sunday, B.J. Finney would fill in for Foster, and Chris Hubbard would replace Gilbert at right tackle.

But not all the injury news was bad. Injured safeties Sean Davis (ankle) and Mike Mitchell (hamstring) were both back at practice, albeit in a limited fashion. As for T.J. Watt and Stephon Tuitt, they both practiced fully for the second straight day, and seem poised to return to the lineup this week.

Martavis Bryant (illness) missed his second straight practice, while Ben Roethlisberger and Le’Veon Bell returned from their day of rest.

Check out the full injury report below for both the Ravens and Steelers, and stay tuned to BTSC for all the latest leading up to this huge AFC North grudge match.
