The Pittsburgh Steelers, and their global fan base, await the latest word on the back injury to Ryan Shazier. After his injury in Week 13 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, the only news of any substance released has been Shazier telling teammates he has feeling, and movement, in his lower body, and further tests will be needed before he can return to Pittsburgh and be treated at UPMC.
On Tuesday evening, the doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where Shazier is being treated, released a new statement. See the statement below:

The statement essentially equates to the facts Shazier still needs several tests before being cleared to return to Pittsburgh, and he will be staying in Ohio for at least another day.
Some will speculate this means Shazier’s condition isn’t improving, and some might speculate Shazier’s condition is worse than the “spinal concussion/contusion” reports stated he suffered after the game Monday.
Here at BTSC, we won’t speculate anything, but will simply wait for more facts to be released by the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, or the Steelers organization.
Stay tuned as more information comes to the forefront on this troubling story/situation...
