The Pittsburgh Steelers are 4-2, coming off of a huge road win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6. As they prepare to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7, Las Vegas is giving them a big tip of the cap in this AFC North matchup.
While Steelers/Bengals games are rarely blowouts, Las Vegas has tabbed Pittsburgh as 6-point favorites at home and, despite the home team usually being granted a 3-point spread, this spread seems abnormally high for a grudge match of bitter division rivals.
A lot of experts already are picking the Steelers to move their record to 5-2 and plummet the Bengals to 2-4. But the question here isn’t only will they win, but will they win and cover.
Fans might want to jump on the Steelers, even giving the points, but history shows you should maybe hold off on that bet. Last year, the Steelers beat the Bengals by a combined 12 points in two matchups.
Take that for what it’s worth, but if you love the Steelers at home in this matchup, you might want to run to the window before the line changes with both teams releasing their final injury reports on Friday.
