Steelers inactives as expected, but the Bengals will be short-handed in Week 7

The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t have many surprises in their inactive list, but the Cincinnati Bengals will be missing some key pieces in Week 7.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals are getting ready to square off in Week 7 at Heinz Field, and as the teams have released their inactive lists, there were no real surprises for the Steelers.

The complete list of inactives for the Steelers:

QB Joshua Dobbs
WR Justin Hunter
CB Brian Allen
LB Arthur Moats
OT Jerald Hawkins
OT Marcus Gilbert
DE Stephon Tuitt

The loss of Tuitt and Gilbert will mean Chris Hubbard and Tyson Alualu will get starts at their respective positions, but the good news in this situation, if there is any, is both have extensive starting experience this season.

Other than those two, Arthur Moats and Justin Hunter are both healthy inactives for the second straight week, but it also means Vince Williams should be good-to-go for this Week 7 game.

The Steelers’ list was mostly expected, but the Bengals’ inactive list tells quite a different story:

The Steelers won’t have to deal with speedster WR John Ross, or WR Tyler Boyd, but the biggest name missing for Cincinnati is Adam Jones. Jones, or ‘Pac-Man’, has been given the assignment of slowing down Antonio Brown in the past. A job he has done well throughout his time with the Bengals.

This could be good news for the black-and-gold, but plays will still need to be made. Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest on this game with both in-game updates and more!
