Offense: B
Big Ben played his best game of the season, while Le'Veon Bell is transforming into an absolute machine. The use of Rosie Nix as a lead blocker and a container of Vontaze Burfict was paramount to the team’s success on Sunday. Red-zone offense still needs to come together though.
Valedictorian: Le'Veon Bell
Honor Roll: Roosevelt Nix, the entire offensive line, Ben Roethlisberger, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Antonio Brown
Detention: Martavis Bryant
Defense: A
The pass defense is humming. The run defense is containing. The pass rush is furious. An improvement was expected, but they’re passing all the tests now. Great effort in containing AJ Green and Joe Mixon.
Valedictorian: T.J. Watt
Honor Roll: Joe Haden, Bud Dupree, Sean Davis, Tyson Alualu
Detention: Nobody
Special Teams: A-
The fake punt was crazy, but it worked. Boswell tacks 15-points onto five stalled drives. He’s huge for the Steelers.
Valedictorian: Chris Boswell
Honor Roll: Darrius Heyward-Bey, Anthony Chickillo, Terrell Watson, Tyler Matakevich, Rob Golden
Detention: Nobody
Overall: A-
The Steelers beat a decent team that’s better than their record, and emerged unscathed. While not perfect, it was still a statement win.
