Anthony Chickillo to start as Bud Dupree highlights Steelers inactive list vs. the Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers are close to kickoff, and the inactive list has been released prior to the Week 1 game vs. the Browns.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are just minutes away from kickoff, and when they released their inactive list for their Week 1 game against the Cleveland Browns, there was one big name not on it — Bud Dupree.

Dupree, the most dynamic pass rusher on the team, will miss the season opener after suffering an apparent shoulder injury midway through the week, which landed him on the team’s injury report.

On top of missing the opener, Dupree missed over half of last season after having surgery to repair a groin injury. After being placed on injured reserve, he was able to come back and record 4.5 sacks in his limited time on the field. Hopes are extremely high for Dupree, and the hope is him not playing in Week 1 is more precautionary than anything else.

Take a look at the rest of the Inactives for both the Steelers and Browns:

Pittsburgh

OLB Bud Dupree, QB Josh Dobbs, WR Justin Hunter, CB Brian Allen, OT Jerald Hawkins, OG Matt Feiler and NT Dan McCullers.

Cleveland
