The Pittsburgh Steelers will on the road again during this 2017 regular season when they travel to play the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Sunday night in Week 8, resuming the march to Super Bowl 52.
As for the Steelers/Lions matchup, their history is rather one-sided. This inter-conference matchup has been dominated by Pittsburgh. In fact, the last time the Steelers lost to the Lions, Charlie Batch was the quarterback for Detroit.
The Steelers—and mainly Ben Roethlisberger—usually love the comfort of Heinz Field, and although Roethlisberger doesn’t play as well on the road, he has great success in domes.
