Just days away from the Steelers vs. Lions Week 8 Sunday Night Football game, both teams released their final injury reports prior to kickoff. For the Steelers, there weren’t many surprises on the injury report. The trio of players who missed all week of practice, Marcus Gilbert, Vance McDonald and Stephon Tuitt, were all ruled out of the game Sunday.

But one player who wasn’t included on the injury report was rookie outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who tweaked his ankle in practice on Friday. Watt told reports after practice he’s fine and ready to go, but it was significant enough to get the attention of the press, even though Watt was nowhere to be found on the injury report.

Either way, if Watt is limited during the game on Sunday, expect more of Anthony Chickillo and James Harrison against some very inexperienced tackles for the Detroit Lions.

In fact, both Emmett Cleary and Greg Robinson, as well as Kenny Golladay, have been ruled out for the contest on Sunday. The Steelers, who have 24 sacks to their credit in the 2017 regular season, will be looking forward to their matchups against the questionable Lions offensive line.
