The Pittsburgh Steelers will have some advantages when it comes to the injury report when they fact the Detroit Lions on Sunday night, but Detroit received some good news on the injury front, as it is being reported wide receiver Golden Tate, who is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, is expected to play in Week 8, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Lions WR Golden Tate, listed as questionable for Sunday night vs Steelers due to shoulder injury, plans to play, per source.

Matthew Stafford, and the Lions’ offense, will need Tate to bring a dynamic aspect to their offense.
Thru 6 games this season, Tate has had 36 catches for 363 yards, and two touchdowns. It looks as if Joe Haden, Artie Burns, William Gay and Mike Hilton will have to contend with Tate in prime time, when it was once thought he wouldn’t play.
Other than Tate’s potential return to the lineup, the Lions will be without Kenny Golladay, who has turned some heads throughout the early portions of the 2017 regular season, so having Tate in the lineup will be big for Jim Caldwell’s team.
