The Pittsburgh Steelers were in a bind with JuJu Smith-Schuster not being able to play in Week 12 vs. the Green Bay Packers. Smith-Schuster, along with Terrell Watson, were the usual kick return men, but with Smith-Schuster out, the Steelers decided to make a move to bolster their special teams play.
The Steelers released RB Terrell Watson and signed RB Fitz Toussaint to the 53 man roster.

Toussaint, who was on the team’s practice squad, will not only replace Watson, but will add experience at the kick return position, not to mention more speed and agility.
Whether this is a one week transaction, or something which could last the remainder of the season, has yet to be seen. If Smith-Schuster returns next week, the team could keep Toussaint on the roster, or they could send him back to the practice squad and make another transaction.
Nonetheless, the “nightmare” Watson is out, and Toussaint, who is most known for his fumble vs. the Broncos in the 2015 AFC Divisional round, is back into the lineup.
