NFL Odds: Steelers enter Week 10 as huge road favorites vs. the Colts

New, comments

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a bye, and are big-time favorites on the road vs. the Colts.

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off their Week 9 bye and are preparing to play the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Field in Week 10. The Steelers, 6-2, will play a Colts team who improved their record to 3-6 after defeating the Houston Texans in Week 9.

Despite the Colts’ most recent victory, Las Vegas loves the Steelers on the road in this game. How much do they love them? Try the Steelers as 10-point favorites, the odds per BookMaker.

Surprisingly, the Steelers, who have struggled on the road in past seasons, are 4-1 away from Heinz Field with only three road games remaining on their 2017 regular season schedule. On the flip side, the only teams the Colts have beaten this season are the winless 49ers and Browns, and a Texans team absolutely decimated by injuries.

When thinking about this matchup, the conversation shouldn’t necessarily be should the Steelers be favored, they should, but will they cover? The most points Pittsburgh has put on the board on the road this season was the 26 they hung on the Ravens in Week 4. Since then, they have been held to 20-points, or fewer, on every occasion.

Not a resounding promotion for the Steelers to handle your betting needs in Week 10.

Nonetheless, if you like the Steelers to beat the Colts on the road, and to cover the 10-point spread, you might want to head to the window soon before the line changes.
