Mike Tomlin was very interested about Vontae Davis’ availability for the upcoming game in Week 10 vs. the Colts. After Davis was left out of the team’s Week 9 game vs. the Texans, Chuck Pagano was unclear whether Davis would be playing vs. the Steelers or not.
Thursday it became crystal clear whether Davis would play or not — he won’t.
Vontae Davis won't play vs Steelers. Will be limited in practice while rehabs groin

While Pagano, and the Colts, made it seem as if Davis being held out of the Texans game wasn’t injury related, he was never on the team’s injury report leading up to the game, one of those phantom groin injuries must have taken another victim.
Either way, Antonio Brown usually has a field day against the Pro Bowl cornerback, and the backup for Davis will also likely have a tough time handling No. 84, just like the rest of the cornerbacks who go up against Brown.
