Drama seems to have attracted to the Pittsburgh Steelers like a fly to...you know, and the latest drama straight out of a High School Musical movie is the temper tantrum thrown by Antonio Brown directed towards Ben Roethhlisberger, Todd Haley and anyone else at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 4.
The team finally gets to put the drama behind them in Week 5 when the 2-2 Jacksonville Jaguars come to Heinz Field trying to move their record above .500. When thinking about the Jaguars and Steelers, there is certainly some history between the two franchises. Whether you think about Mark Brunell and the AFC Central battles which used to ensue, or David Garrard ripping out the heart of Steelers fans in the 2007 AFC Playoffs.
History aside, there is a lot on the line for both teams Sunday. The Steelers are coming off an emotional win over the Baltimore Ravens, while the Jaguars suffered an overtime loss to the New York Jets. With only one game separating these two squads in the current AFC Standings, a win would be huge for both teams.
Who will win? Only time will tell, but it is that time of the week where we check in to see who the experts think will win the game Sunday at the Big Ketchup Bottle.
The majority of experts are extremely pro-Steelers. Heck, who am I kidding, every expert who puts in weekly selections at the major media outlets all think the Steelers will win this Week 5 game.
That’s right, every major media outlet: ESPN, SB Nation, CBS Sports — all like the Steelers to advance their record to 4-1 heading into a huge AFC showdown between the Steelers and Chiefs in Week 6. However, there are more expert picks than just those aforementioned sites.
What about all the other experts who are responsible for weekly NFL picks? Are they all thinking the Steelers will roll on Sunday? This is where our friends at NFL Pick Watch come in to lend a helping hand. NFL Pick Watch is a website which compiles all NFL expert picks into one easy-to-read graph.
According to their data, 98-percent of experts like the Steelers to win on Sunday, continue their lead in the AFC North and advance to 4-1. Whether the team actually pulls through is up in the air, especially considering a similar situation unfolded in Week 3 with all experts picking the Steelers over the Bears, but heading into Week 5 the Steelers are the experts’ pick to win.
