The Steelers are looking to right the ship in the Midwest this weekend against an undefeated NFL juggernaut. BTSC highlights five guys who could impact the game in a positive way.
WR Eli Rogers
Eli Rogers was in Mike Tomlin's doghouse last year and emerged from it as a better player. No. 17 fumbled a punt in Chicago that contributed to the loss in Week 3. Rogers seemingly was scapegoated and JuJu Smith-Schuster absorbed his spot. But Rogers is back this week and could be a huge spark plug for a struggling offense.
LB James Harrison
Deebo is a Steelers’ legend, but hasn’t been treated as one recently. He’ll be in action on Sunday and this might help against the run. Anthony Chickillo and T.J. Watt are very solid pass rushers, but they’re not as strong at stopping the run as No. 92.
WR Martavis Bryant
Although not in danger of losing his job, the big-play threat should start playing with a sense of urgency. He needs to become a strong 1B to AB for the team to reach their potential.
QB Ben Roethlisberger
Enough has been said, speculated and rehashed about the Steelers’ gunfighter. The time is NOW!
LB Bud Dupree
This was supposed to be the year of a Bud breakout, but Alvin only had half of a tackle last week. The Steelers expect and need so much more from No. 48.
