The NFL is clinging to any victory it can get its hands on at this point, and after being marred in public scrutiny, can you blame them?
The league, and CBS, released the fact their national game coverage for Week 6 was up 7-percent, and was their highest rating of the 2017 season. The game which drew the most eyeballs was none other than the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

On top of the unbeaten Chiefs going down to a very popular Steelers team, CBS also announced the game was the highest-rated of the weekend on any network, excluding the ESPN Monday Night Football contest.
In fact, the weekend even drew more than they did in 2016, but as most football fans know viewers are all about the matchups. People want the marquee games, and they got what they wanted in Steelers vs. Chiefs in Week 6.
The question now is, can the NFL continue to rebuild their fan base after a horrible start to the season? Only time will tell.
